Lesson 6: Baptism In The Spirit

The Lord told his personal disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they received a
promise from the Father. John the Baptist said that Jesus would baptize in the
Holy Spirit. The promise is the Holy Spirit and the Lord wants you to receive
this touch from the Lord. A good question to ask is why do I need it? Didn’t I
get the Holy Spirit when I got born again?
You need the baptism because the Lord said you need it so you could be His
witness. A witness carries evidence and the Lord wants your life to be such
that it shows proof that Christ is alive in you. Yes, you did receive the
Holy Spirit and it is in you, but you also need the Holy Spirit on you. We
need the new clothes of the Holy Spirit on us.

How to receive:
1. Ask for forgiveness for any known sins.
2. Ask the Lord to baptize you.
3. Believe you receive.
4. Begin to speak whatever comes out (don’t use English).
