Simon Chavez is serving in Spain with his wife and daughter. Simon has an anointing to touch and disciple broken people. He has a real deep compassion to minister to those who are caught in the web of drugs and alcohol or afflicted by H.I.V. The Lord has used him to lead many people in this web to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and then disciple them into the freedom that is in Jesus Christ.

In 2009 that the Chavez family visited Ventura! They took the SCF D12 model and CityKidz outreach to their church in Cambrils.

They've named the CityKidz Ministry Atrévete (Spanish for “I Dare You”).
Atrévete is currently in two locations. Simon, Marta and their daughter Melanie take two teams out weekly. They have received favor with the local governments and have been given a building in Constanti where they hold weekly Bible studies
