CityKidz is a weekly program that takes Sunday School out of the church and into the community.

Throughout the week, men, women and children load up the CityKidz truck and other vehicles with sound equipment, games, prizes, costumes and candy and head out to neighborhoods around Ventura County. At each location, kids are invited to come and participate in an exciting program that includes dynamic worship, exciting games and prizes, scripture memorization and a creative Bible story presentation.

Our goal is to mobilize people from SCF into the surrounding communities and bring a message of hope to children and their families. The CityKidz program creates opportunities for men, women and children of SCF to get involved in a ministry that has the potential to transform the lives of children and families in local neighborhoods.

Each week, we return to the same neighborhoods with joy, laughter, and a message of hope for kids and their families. And because we are there week after week, we begin to build trust throughout the community which allows our Neighborhood ACTION teams to identify and meet practical needs in the communities as well.
