Awana Clubs

AWANA Clubs is a time of FUN when the leaders and clubbers get together to LEARN the WORD of GOD through a Lesson Time, play GAMES, and earn AWARDS through Book Time and Share GOD’S LOVE at each AWANA Club Night. But more importantly, your child will be building a storehouse of understanding and knowledge of WHO GOD IS.

Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.

Puggles program is built around four precepts:

  • God made everything

  • God saw that it was good

  • God is love

  • Give thanks

Each week features a theme around one of the precepts and related core verses: Genesis 1:1, John 1:3, Isaiah 42:5, Genesis 1:10, 1 John 4:15 and Psalm 105:1

Ages: Pre-K (3 to 4 years olds)

Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of prekinder (3- to 4-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Curriculum features two handbooks – AppleSeed and HoneyComb.

Basic scripture memory verses, activities for parent, and Cubbies take home and bring back the next week to review in Club and present patches. A CD is also available to use at home. One handbook is completed in a club year. Each handbook contains 26 Bear Hug sections along with four special-day sections. All newcomers will complete an entrance booklet – Apple Acres.

Ages: Kinder – 2nd Grader

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

Sparks curriculum is comprised of three handbooks. Each handbook builds a foundation of biblical wisdom through memory verse drills, crafts, activities and review of key doctrine and Bible facts. First handbook, HangGlider, all newcomers to Sparks will complete an entrance booklet – Flight 3:16 – that centers on the gospel message of John 3:16. WingRunner and SkyStormer handbooks challenge Sparkies to learn about 15 more verses than the preceding book. Each handbook includes an audio CD with readings of all the Bible biographies, memory verses and character stories featuring Sparky the Firefly and his friends Chloe, Jacob and Joel.

Truth & Training

Ages: 3rd – 6th graders

T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace.

T&T Club – Truth & Training  – Part 1 (3rd thru 4th grade). Ultimate Adventure teaches that the salvation in Christ is the ultimate adventure! Clubbers will learn that the Bible is true and they can firmly trust what it says. Each handbook answers four questions about God and the Bible that third- and fourth-graders frequently ask. Clubbers learn eight answers to each of these questions along with verses to back up these answers. The handbooks include Bible studies and activities that allow children to go deeper into the subject matter.

All newcomers to T&T need to complete an entrance booklet explains God’s plan of salvation.

T&T Club – Truth & Training  – Part 2 (5th thru 6th grade)

Ultimate Challenge teaches that walking faithfully with Christ is the ultimate challenge! This section of handbooks will answer four questions about God and the Bible that preteens typically ask. Kids learn eight answers to each of these questions, memorizing verses that back up the answers. Bible studies, activities and service opportunities take them further into the subject matter. All newcomers to T&T need to complete an entrance booklet explains God’s plan of salvation. Some Clubbers will remain in T&T, while others have the option to move to the Jr High Club, Trek, for the 6th grade Club.  This is decided by the spiritual maturity of the Clubber between parent and Director of this Club.

 Ages: Jr. High School

Trek Club will challenge the Clubbers to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through their daily walk. It consists of a 32 weeks of curriculum, discussion guides and devotionals for the Clubbers. All newcomers need to complete an entrance booklet, Trek Check, that shares the truth of the gospel, so all students learn the salvation message.
