As we enter a new year, I am sure you are evaluating your lives activities and asking the question about priorities? Are these the activities and the results that I want? We all know how easy it is to get into activities that are not where the Lord has called me to spend my time and energy. It doesn’t mean I am doing destructive things or evil things but anything that takes time, treasure, and talent needs to be evaluated. We hopefully are all familiar with the Mary and Martha story (Luke 10:38-42). Martha was involved in a good activity of serving but the timing was wrong. The Lord reminded her that setting at the feet of Jesus was the best thing at the time and she could serve latter. Psalms 25:12 states that if I will honor the Lord then He will instruct me in the path He has chosen for me. The activities the Lord has for me are of course what all of us want. Pray over each time consuming activity that you have in your life and ask the Lord if these are still to be where you put your attention and time. Everything in our lives has a season and sometimes I forgot that a certain season is over and keep doing the same thing when the Lord has a new placed ready for me. The Lord knows what the purpose of our lives is all about and He wants everything we do to be taking use toward the full expression of that purpose. We need revelation of what is the Lord’s best and the courage to be obedient to the instruction of the Lord.  Know that the Lord has the right steps for you to walk in that are tailored made just for you.

(Psa 25:12 NIV)  Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.
