When you are reading God’s word there are times when you will encounter a list of actions to do or a list of actions not to do. I love to see those because I am confident they are there to help me walk in a way that is going to bring me to a place of blessings. Psalms 15 is a psalm of instruction, written to help me stand firm and prosper; I get excited about that. Let me give you the list and then talk about one of the action points. A life-style that is blameless: does the right thing, speaks the truth, no evil report, treats people right, does not speak or listen to gossip, keeps word, honors others, does not charge interest on loans, and will not accept bribes. How is that for a list! You might look at the list and think that you could never meet all of those requirements. Remember the Lord never asks you to do the impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit. I read this life-assignment and immediately thought of Colossians 1:22 which states that the Lord has brought me into His presence and presented me holy, blameless and without a single fault. If you are like me, the enemy points out a few faults right away but because the Lord sees me blameless then I can begin to walk in a way that reflects what the Lord says. It is easier to walk through imperfection when I know perfection is going to happen. So we can have confidence that we will walk in the assignment given by the Lord because the Holy Spirit is going to help us be steadfast and not moved.

(Psa 15:2 NLT)  Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
